Today we were talking about how every media has an intended audience they are heading towards. Based on the genre, you will see which type of people relate most to your magazine and that will be your intended audience. In order to capture their attention, you will have to point some small details out to catch their eye. Something that is relatable or a task they usually do. So, this assignment has two parts to it. The first is about figuring out the audience profile of two different magazine covers from the genre I chose. Then after those two, I will be doing my own audience profile for my cover. Apart of doing this I'm going to have to put down the demographics and the psychographic of each cover. Demographics are facts about people like age, education, and ethnicity. Psychographics is data of the persons personal life on their interests, beliefs, and attitude.
Part 1

Demographic
Age: The age group that this cover is intending to reach out to are teens and young adults because it adds on phrases like "Expressing gratitude through a junk journal".
Gender: From my perspective, I believe that this is for females because it has feminism details like the floral background with light colors and has two drawn girls as the main image.
Education: The education the cover is heading toward is high schoolers and college students.
Socio - economic: They are C1 class because they have at least a background in education which could be two years of college or a certification. Low class and more are more focused on survival which is food and shelter. To be able to value art is to be middle class or higher.
Ethnicity: This isn't for any ethnicity specifically because there aren't any words that are for anyone in specific and the main image are two neutral females. They have no hair, skin color, or clothing that can point out on what's their ethnicity.
Psychographic:
People that are attracted to this can be people that are starting to find a path in their life with creativity in it and need help on how to manage that. This cover makes it well known that it's a guide on how to deal with art by journaling.

Demographic
Age: The age group is for teens most likely because the vocabulary is simple.
Gender: This is for females because of the flowers and the vibrant colors they used, and the main image is a female.
Education: People in high schools can be attracted to this because of the youthful language they used.
Socio - economic: It is for E, the underclass, because they use the words "Plenty Free" which attracts the people that have low paying jobs and want to do art in an easy way with tools that have low prices.
Ethnicity: Hispanic and/or African because of the features of the main image. The parrot on her shoulder is from the Amazon which means she can be from South America.
Psychographic:
The audience that would be captivated can be a strong and passionate feminist about their culture and/or gender. This cover attracts women passionate about their Hispanic South American roots and their feminism.
Part 2
For the second part of this blog, I will be introducing the audience I expect for my magazine. I'll be setting out the demographics and the psychographics and putting in photos of the ideal image in my head I have for my audience. I'm presenting the title for my cover as well.
