After the first draft and presenting them in class to get feedback from my classmates and teacher, I am now showing my 2nd draft after hearing what everyone had to say that can fix my magazine. This is my magazine edited, and I will be explaining my decisions as well on which feedback I took on to help me. I'll be providing the cover, TOC, and the DPS.
COVER:

My cover didn't have much change to it since the feedback I had got was just to fix a few mistakes like making the masthead a bigger size and adding another cover line. Then by my own thoughts, I really liked how my cover turned out, so I also had no changes I wanted to do. I've decided to keep my cover like this.
TOC:

Here I didn't like how my previous TOC came out because I was struggling with decorating and decided to take a new way in doing it. I ended up choosing just one picture for the full page as the background as it helps it make it look cleaner and more mature. I liked the outcome of this idea and will most likely choose to stay with this one. I have changed everything as in the colors for the letters and the image and the way it set out. I chose everything to be in white with a pink outline and then have the article I'm writing about be in black with the pink outline. Then the TOC title be in white with an orange outline. All the outlines are to make the letters pop out and not blend into the grass or yarn.
DPS:

I went to do three pages. First one for the tools and guide for sketching, second page for tools to color the sketches with, and then the third page an interview with a professional that has experience as she teaches about art to students and has gone to art school. The process for this was also a struggle because I didn't know how to lay out the images and still make it look organized and not too crowded as I had many pictures to use. Since I changed the image in the TOC, the photos I had in the beginning I moved them over to the DPS. It was 4 photos, the pastels, markers, paint tubes, and charcoal. I moved them to the second page of tools to use to color your sketches with. The first page, I changed the paragraphs to be in different sides from each other as well as the images of the sketch. Then I had added a pink frame onto all the images to match the color splashes. My classmates had told me to fix my title, so I did, the color and added an outline. Lastly, the second and third page didn't have any critique on them since I was advised to do a third page for the interview on my 1st draft meaning it's all on my own critique. I decided to have fun with it and have the images on the second page go in a zig zag way then next to them is the guide for the subject in the image.
This was all a lot of work, but I had learnt a lot from my classmates, teacher, and even myself. This is what I had decided on choosing for my magazine but if there are any other feedback of changes, I get then I'll be glad to do those changes as they can fill my potential in making this a great art & design magazine.
