I'll be sharing and reflecting the final part in the magazine, the double - page spread. I'll be comparing the first draft and the final piece. What will be provided will be my thoughts on making this and my process.
1st Draft:

Final:

From my first to last piece, there were a lot of changes. This was a struggle and a lot of going back and forth with my ideas but also others feedback. Though even with all the conflict, I like my results. At first, I had the font Serif but went to change it to League Spartan for the whole articles and titles because I thought Serif was too formal and the other font gave the article the vibe of fun and happiness. I changed the title of the article to the font I have for my mast head on my cover in red. I did keep the paint splashes in the corners. I changed the organization of the photos and paragraphs. Originally the photos I have on page 18, were supposed to be used for the TOC but didn't like how it looked and switched them to go in that page. Also, because I had to make a third page for the interview. There's not much of a comparison I can do with my first draft since I haven't written down anything in the second page. But main differences are the organization of the photos, stanzas, and the change in font and adding more color to keep it as a Homestyle and pattern. My first draft I was lost and had it empty but now with all the feedback and work I've been doing; I love my results.
