Here I did a photoshoot and I'll be sharing10 final photos of my magazine. Then I'll be explaining my processes and changes I've made.

COVER:

The process for this was at my friend's house and I was using her camera. I had her stand in the sun to get natural light and had her hand hold 3 paint brushes with paint all over them and her hand as well against a white wall, so the audience only focuses of the central image. Also to make it look clean and give it space for all the text that will be placed into the photo. The angle is eye level.

TOC:

I positioned the charcoal pieces into the corner of a staircase in her house. This was also in natural light but under a roof making the photo a little darker than the other one. This photo is to show different type of tools in art. The angle was kind of a high angle.

I laid the pastel box on a wall on the grass since the box was already white and the wall is white, I wanted more color than just the pastels. This is to show another tool in art. The angle is eye level.

The camera angle was eye level. Here I put the paint brushes in the jar that I borrowed from my friend and then scattered the paint tubes in front of it with the paint palettes that have dried paint on them. A change I did here was the background. At first my intention was to have a plain background like a white wall but then I saw her pool and liked the life it brings into the photo. The purpose of this photo was to show another tool.

Nothing was changed here. All I had to do for this photo was to have all the markers standing in a box and the camera being in a high angle. Then the camera going very closely to the markers to the point you can't see its surroundings at all.

DPS:

I had the camera do a high angle of the beginning of a sketch I drew on a sheet of paper to give it a better look to it. The purpose was to show a guide in how a beginning of a sketch is supposed to like with the tips that I'll be giving in the article of my magazine.

This is the same process as the photo before. High angle of a sketch I finished drawing. This is to show the ending of a sketch on how it's supposed to look like if the audience follows the tips I give.

This wasn't the original idea for the photo. Before I wanted the have an over the shoulder angle of Ms. Diaz, the person I am interviewing, drawing her own sketch. But that didn't work out because of time management. Instead, I came up with this on doing a high angle of color pencils on top of the grass. This also being a close up. The purpose is to show tools on ways to color sketches with.

This is another idea being changed because again it's connected to Ms. Diaz's sketch. It was supposed to be the final result of her sketch. Instead, I did a high angle of a sketchbook laid on a wooden floor with a pencil, eraser, and a sharpener. This is to show the main basics of needs to sketch.

Finally, this is Ms. Diaz. The one I am interviewing. It's eye level with a mid-angle photo. The process of this was to have her sit on a stool against a plain background that won't distract the audience and can contrast her.
